The Association |
The Cairo University Alumni (CUA) Association was established to build a trusty relationship between the university and its graduates in order to better serve the community from one hand, and to support cultural and social developments of Cairo University from the other hand. The Alumni hold activities and events that assist graduates in developing their practical abilities and job market skills. It also provides the labor market with opportunities to hire the highly qualified graduates within different field who may lead a role in building the society and developing the university itself.
CUA Association goals
1. Making use of the university's facilities for supporting the alumni educational, cultural and social development.
2. Establishing channels of communication between the alumni and community, involving the participation of professors, students and alumni in various university events and activities. Hence, it maintains continual contact with alumni in academic setting to exchange ideas and update alumni on the latest scientific developments.
3. Providing opportunities for exchanging alumni’s knowledge gained in their fields of specialization after graduation, related to the practical needs of job market and discussing their issues, aspirations and shared goals.
4. Promoting alumni’s sense of responsibility towards providing the university with feedback on social concerns and growing requirements for community service, so that the university might better tailor its programs to meet such demands.
5. Strengthening the relationship between the Alumni Association and local and international universities or worldwide similar organizations.
