CUA annually selects a number of the outstanding university graduates or companions or associations to receive its most important honor, the Best Alumni Awards.

1- The Alumni Achievement Award

Throughout their careers, these graduates have contributed significantly to their companies and communities while upholding the highest standards and values in everything they do.

2- The Distinguished Alumni Award

This award is presented to a distinguished graduate who has produced a remarkable innovations in any field.

3- Philanthropist Award

This award is presented to an individual, family, association, corporation, or foundation with a proven record of providing major, on-going financial support.

4- Honorary Alumni Award

It is given annually to candidates who have demonstrated continuing outstanding volunteer service to Cairo University on a local or international level.

5- Young Alumni Award

Throughout their careers, these graduates have contributed significantly to their companies and communities while upholding the highest standards and values in everything they do.
